Live Clutter Free

Life can be so fast paced at times that, without even realising it, clutter builds up around us. This is completely normal, and we all experience it. While we are by no means suggesting that your home should be spotless 24/7, we want to share with you the power of decluttering.

As clutter builds up around us it can find ways of seeping into our mind and crowding our mental space as well as our physical space. Its therefore hardly surprising that being in such an environment can increase stress levels. That’s why decluttering is about more than maintaining the aesthetics of your living space, it’s about improving your physical and mental well-being.

Why not start by washing that growing pile of dishes or sorting through that pile of papers? Little by little this gradual clearing of your environment will reduce your levels of anxiety and restore calm. Not only will this have a positive effect on your mental well-being, but removing clutter also reduces the gathering of dust therefore influencing your physical well-being. Your whole environment will feel fresher and more positive.

Focusing on your home environment is a powerful move, but it is also beneficial to dedicate time to yourself. Why not do this by starting your day in a positive way?

Start your morning the right way

It’s too easy sometimes to just hit the snooze button over and over, and before you know it you only have half an hour before you need to be in work. But this can set the precedent for a chaotic and disorganised day. Every morning we are presented with a fresh day, and the first choice we make is whether to get up or to rest our eyes for five more minutes (although it never is just “five more minutes” is it?).

Try starting your day off in a positive way and getting out of bed as soon as your alarm goes off. Make a delicious breakfast, have a coffee or do a quick workout. There are so many short yet powerful actions you can take to set the tone for your day and live more positively.

Remember that no matter how small your actions are, they count towards your well-being and development of a positive lifestyle. The smallest of steps can go a long way!
